You can start as small as performing in front of your English class to memorizing a five minute speech in front of hundreds of people! I can do it! And so can you! Poetry Slams are opportunities for people to express various amplitudes of political, social, economic, or environmental issues via spoken word. People are encouraged to share their perspectives, embrace their experiences, and bring their voices to make matters differ!
